We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor. You will play a critical role in analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine their effects on cost. Additionally, you will analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. This role also involves providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
You will work alongside engineers, sales, purchasing, master data, and seven factory teams. The role offers flexibility with a Friday Flex day and work hours ranging from 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6. The team is small, providing ample room for growth opportunities. Training will be provided with a one-month learning curve. The company values individual contributions, allowing employees to bring new ideas to the table without extensive approval processes. Although there is currently no bonus compensation, the company is working on implementing one.
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $41.00/hr.
