Your responsibilities will include:
• Designing solutions to meet requirements of business users using SharePoint online and other M365 tools.
• Managing the migrations SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online or other solutions, including data mapping, transition planning, and implementing best practise.
• Supporting migrated solutions in hyper care period following migration and troubleshooting issues.
• Documenting work and handing over to BAU teams when complete.
• Adhering to ITIL processes (including Change Management, Problem Management and Major Incident Management).
• Delivery of tasks in a sprint methodology, the ability to accurately forecast/estimate task timescales, and call out any blockers to success.
Your responsibilities may include:
• BAU operational support for SharePoint - resolving requests, incidents and problems for SharePoint, MS Stream, Power Apps infrastructures when on support, as part of a rota, in hours.
• Working with business analysts and business users to understand requirements and identify migration challenges.
• Ensuring that an appropriate balance is achieved between maintaining live services and delivering projects through active time management.
• Continuously improving the way the Bank of England uses SharePoint, M365 Apps for Business, OneDrive for Business, MS Stream and Power Apps and keeping up to date with the Office 365 roadmap to be able to recommend changes that will benefit our users.
• Engaging with external, 3rd party vendors for support purposes, and ensuring we drive value from our services.
• Providing training to end-users and internal SharePoint champions on best practices, features, and functionality.
• Empowering business users to meet their own via migrating their own content or using tools like PowerApps / Power Platform.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and usability of SharePoint environments.

Role Requirements
Minimum/Essential Criteria
Demonstrable experience of the following:
• SharePoint migrations, including on-premise SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint Online transitions.
• Introducing new sites and improving user experience of existing SharePoint sites.
• Use of the ShareGate migration tool.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture and content management.
• Governance, security models, permissions, and user access controls in SharePoint.
• Practical expertise in the use of PowerShell.
Desirable Criteria
Demonstrable experience of the following:
• Support and configuration of SharePoint 2010.
• Power Automate / Power Apps.
• Migration of InfoPath Forms.
• SharePoint Workflows.
• Migration of custom SharePoint lists.
• Entra ID Identity Management (Users / Groups).
• Document Management within SharePoint Online.
• Windows Server administration and IIS knowledge/skills
• Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Understanding of data security and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Using Agile ways of working with delivery of tasks in a sprint methodology.
• Delivering project work to deadlines and to a high standard.
