Back Market wouldn’t be able to do much without products to sell and a website (and app) that helps customers find exactly what they’re looking for. That’s where the Engagement team comes in! We are made up of 13 people based in Bordeaux, Paris, London, and New York. Our mission is to boost customer engagement and sales with impactful CRM and merchandising, by building great CX, and fostering lasting relationships.


As a Site Activation Intern, you will assist with merchandising & CRM tasks in administering the website, creating engaging emails, ensuring the product offer is commercially strong, and developing coherent user journeys. You will also work hand-in-hand with various departments at Back Market to support the Global markets with a direct impact on the site conversion rate, from launching promotional and brand campaigns to running ad-hoc analysis, managing exciting projects, and having a lot of fun.


YOUR MISSION (IF YOU ACCEPT IT): 🥇
  • Conduct regular audits of onsite & emails content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. 
  • Help develop coherent campaign user journeys and collaborate with other teams to provide users with the best emails & on-site experience.
  • Assist the team to plan the Merchandising & CRM promotional plan for 2025, work closely with our Brand Team & copywriters, and run ad-hoc analysis on our campaigns.
  • Work on our Content Management System (CMS) & CRM tool (Braze) to administer the website, create various pages and implement CRM campaigns on various channels (emails, push notifications, in-app).
  • Work closely with the brand and studio teams to craft briefs for campaign activations on our owned channels, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand guidelines.

  • English is a no-brainer (fully professional capability). If you’re extra cool and speak more languages, bonus points for you!
  • You ideally have previous experience in marketing or CRM; the e-commerce sector is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Content Management Systems and Google Analytics
  • Sales-driven spirit with a balance of analytical and creative skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • You are organized, and structured and have a lot of drive and a can-do/will-do attitude
