ABOUT THE TEAM
Technology is at the core of what we do. Basis Technologies' innovative Engineering team designs and develops new features and integrations for Basis, our industry-leading, comprehensive software solution. Our platform processes over 300 billion events per day and uses AI and machine learning to automate and simplify the entire digital campaign process.
Our Application Engineering team drives innovation and builds features and integrations that make the Basis Platform the go-to software for large agencies and brands. This role will be part of the Financial Integrations team and will focus on crafting the UI for integrating diverse Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with our Basis core financial system, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between different systems, generating reports and quickly spotting discrepancies, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our organization's operations.
WAYS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
As a UI Engineer specializing in ERP integration, you will be:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining the UI that the integration of various ERP systems with our core financial system possible.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, product managers, designers UX engineers and other software engineers, to gather requirements and design the solutions.
- Implementing UI designs ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Participating in companywide engineering initiatives.
- Performing thorough testing and quality assurance activities to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability, identifying and resolving any issues or inconsistencies.
- Taking ownership over deliverables, quality, and support across your team's systems and components. Being accountable for driving projects from ideation through production.
- Bringing a positive attitude to work and embody Basis' core principles.
- Acknowledging and embracing diversity of thought and opinion, and approach with Beeps, clients and vendors, regardless of background, culture, and organizational level. Specific examples include, but are not limited to:

- 5 years or more of professional software experience, using React.
- Experience in designing and building production-level applications leveraging a modern web software stack. Our application is primarily built with React, Ruby on Rails, and is hosted on AWS.
- Knowledge and fluency in the tools used to build and maintain software: Git, Unix/Linux environments, and automated testing tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field
- Experience using react-query, react-hook-form.
- Experience with Jest testing framework, React testing library.
- Passion for Ad-Tech
- Ruby, Java, JavaScript, React.js
- PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB
- Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
- Kafka, RabbitMQ
