Job Description

As an Associate Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our plant by implementing innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our electrical systems in beautiful and affordable Roseville, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to launch their careers in electrical engineering within a facilities management context.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems within our facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
  • Support senior engineers in conducting arc flash studies, short circuit analyses, and protective device coordination using industry-standard software like ETAP or SKM.
  • Participate in the evaluation of existing electrical infrastructure and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Help prepare technical documentation, including reports, compliance documentation, and electrical system layouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet timelines and budget constraints.
  • Review design drawings applying engineering fundamentals.
  • Assist in electrical safety code compliance and field work, data collection, and equipment verification.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles and concepts.
  • Familiarity with arc flash studies, short circuit analysis, or related coursework.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and manuals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in design, operation, and troubleshooting HVAC, water treatment, control systems, or chemical systems.
  • 480 and/or 208-volt power distribution experience.
  • Knowledge of low/medium voltage power systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Work experience in a clean room or in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

  • This role will be working on site in Roseville, CA.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $78,000-$85,000.  Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.

In addition to your base salary, Bosch offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision plans; health savings accounts (HSA); flexible spending accounts; 401(K) retirement plan with an attractive employer match; wellness programs; life insurance; long term disability insurance; paid time off; parental leave.
