Six-week full-time internship to begin in July 2025

Hybrid in Portland, OR

The Strategic Communications team is dedicated to protecting and strengthening Cambia's reputation through strategic communications and stakeholder engagement. Join our dynamic team to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications, public relations, social media and strategic storytelling. Duties and opportunities include:

  • Support the execution of strategic communications plans for various corporate initiatives

  • Assist with media monitoring and analysis, including social media presence; contribute to digital campaign strategies, including brainstorming creative concepts

  • Assist in developing communications materials including talking points, FAQs, blogs and social media posts

  • Conduct research and analysis on communications-related trends and themes relevant to our brands, industry, partners, and competitors

  • Build relationships with team members and cross-functionally with business areas

  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc communications needs

Internship qualifications include:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years college education completed; required minimum overall GPA of 3.2

  • Strong writing and editing skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office suite and experience with social media platforms

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with various stakeholders

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Must reside in Portland, OR during the internship

The base pay for this position is $22 - $28/hour depending on experience.
