Job Description

Capgemini is looking for a Java Backend Developer with React Expertise, driving innovation in high-visibility enterprise projects using cutting-edge technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend components using Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
  • Develop RESTful APIs for seamless client-server communication.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability across backend and database layers.
  • Utilize React for building responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
  • Collaborate on system architecture, technical specifications, and scalability solutions.
  • Work in Agile teams with product managers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
  • Write unit/integration tests and debug backend and front-end integration issues.
  • Refactor code for performance optimization and long-term maintainability.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and backend development.
  • Proven expertise in React for building user interfaces.
  • Strong track record in enterprise-scale applications within investment banking or similar domains.
  • Proficiency with Git, BitBucket, Confluence, and JIRA.


Preferred Skills:

  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Kafka and UNIX platforms.
  • Familiarity with Agile, TDD, and Continuous Delivery.
