About the team and position

Are you skilled at commanding the attention of a room and discussing very important issues? Can you recall hundreds of important details at the drop of a hat? Do you feel comfortable using legal jargon in daily life? If you know what movie that’s from, come join us! Carvana is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Legal Analyst. 

 

As a Legal Analyst, you’ll work closely with our Legal and Customer Advocate teams to research and respond to complaints about the intersection of various state and federal laws and our online car-buying process. This position will report directly to the Team Lead, Litigation and Regulatory Support within Carvana’s Legal Team.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Work closely with several of the company’s business units to review, analyze, and resolve consumer complaints submitted to Carvana.
  • Intake, research, and respond to elevated customer disputes in a timely manner.
  • Complete legal research projects and summaries on a variety of topics as assigned. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What you should have

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution is preferred.
  • Demonstrated work experience in a role requiring complex analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain highly detailed records.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills necessary to interface with various individuals within the company across many departments.
  • Highly analytical, with an ability to identify important issues and propose solutions to such issues.
  • Effective communicator, with an emphasis on clear and focused writing.  
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and motivation to contribute to and thrive in a rapidly growing company where roles continually adapt as the company evolves.
