Cengage Group is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Global Accounting & Reporting team, focused on driving the monthly consolidation process and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities: Lead the global monthly consolidation process, prepare financial reporting packages, ensure compliance with intercompany agreements, and support audit activities while identifying operational improvements.
Skills: Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency in US GAAP and ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4 Hana.
Qualifications: Public Accounting experience and CPA are preferred, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

The Senior Accountant, Global Accounting & Reporting is a part of the Cengage Controllership team that exhibits a business orientation that expands beyond accounting and financial reporting and includes management decision support, process design and implementation, and critical analysis.
This position is central to the finance organization and will be responsible for providing accounting support for the world-wide consolidation process, and playing a critical role in the internal and external reporting requirements of Cengage. This position is a high impact role responsible for driving effective and efficient monthly close process resulting in complete and accurate financial statements.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
