Sr. Systems Administrator

Description: Due to continued growth we are currently seeking to add a Sr. Systems Administrator. In this role, you will provide expert-level support, lead complex technical projects, and be responsible for:

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Design, implement and support cloud infrastructure
  • Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues for end users
  • Support of Microsoft-related technologies: Windows Server, Office 365/Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
  • Support of virtual environments including VMware and Hyper-V
  • Support backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Configure, install, and support various network devices and services, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, & security
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution
  • Effectively communicate with customers on ticket progress, impending changes, or agreed outages, etc.
  • Maintain strong client system documentation to include system reviews and recommendations
  • Maintain daily documentation by entering time, expenses, and all work as service tickets in ConnectWise
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the IT field
  • MD-102 or VCP 6/6.5 certification (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in IT (preferred).
  • Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, Office 365, and Mac OS (a plus).
  • AWS or Azure experience (a plus).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and organization, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to the success of a growing company and client base.
