Base Starting Wage $25.50

Currently Hiring for: Days M- F Shifts

Day Shift Hours (3:00 PM - 1:00 AM) M- F

This position is an essential part of Cornerstone Building Brands’s manufacturing team. A maintenance technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, plumbing, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems; inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards; and reporting major breakdowns and repairs on machinery.   This position performs various maintenance tasks as assigned and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment

Qualifications

5 years proven maintenance experience. Related degree from a college, technical college, or military experience. Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replaced defective parts

  • A minimum of one (5) year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment
  • Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a substance abuse screening test and criminal background check
