Director of Strategic Alliances

The Director of Strategic Alliances is charged with identifying & cultivating new business relationships with industry-leading companies to create unique high-impact partnership opportunities. This role places an important focus on strategic alliances, technology influencers, and complementary solution providers that have high relevance to Datex’s strategic priorities and present cross-functional and multi-market growth opportunities. 

This role is responsible for all phases and aspects of partner recruitment, enablement, ongoing partner management and driving revenue through partner channels and relationships. This individual will drive the initiation and development of these strategic alliances. This individual will partner heavily with cross functional teams to ensure enterprise alignment to maximize our market potential. This individual will support Datex’s senior leadership team in providing insight around emerging trends, players, and alliances impacting the commercial space. 

To be successful in this role, you must be located in the United States.

  • Partner with senior leadership to support and iterate on the go-to-market and overall alliances strategy. 
  • Define and align go-to-market plans to increase competitive position in selective markets. 
  • needs to identify business growth opportunities through collaboration with strategic alliances.  
  • Spearhead research efforts on our target partners to understand existing alliances landscape and identify key decision makers, market dynamics. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various members of our organization including sales leadership, sales, marketing, support, and operations to develop the partnership. 
    • Ensure cross-organizational communication and education about Datex’s strategic alliances.  
  • Stimulate demand and influence existing opportunities in the pipeline. 
  • Work with the Datex Training and Compliance team and Datex University to increase the services capacity for Datex solutions. 
  • Help to roll out processes and procedures to enable scalable and sustainable growth via strategic alliances. 
  • Influence internal teams to mobilize resources. Elevate local alliances to strategic ones. 
  • Showcase your measurement and tracking skills by helping to assess alliances annual performance metrics and outcomes to nurture growth and optimize channel revenues.

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study, or combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Alliances development, Partner management, or Business Development 
  • 3-5 years’ experience with SaaS, WMS Software, or other technology company  
  • Robust strategic skills, with the ability to identify and assess key metrics, implications, and recommendations towards strategic alliances. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks and projects at once. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
