About the Role

We’re looking for a mid-level Product Designer with a strong focus on mobile design, who’s also comfortable working across web platforms and contributing to user research. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to design intuitive, user-centered experiences that solve real problems.

You should bring a strong grasp of mobile UI/UX principles, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to design high-quality solutions. You’re someone who can take ambiguity and shape it into clear, actionable design decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to align design work with business goals and technical feasibility.

  • Embed with agile teams to deliver user experiences that are both beautiful and functional.

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate ideas and iterate quickly.

  • Design seamless mobile and web experiences, ensuring consistency across platforms.

  • Engage with users to understand needs, gather feedback, and validate design decisions.

  • Plan and conduct user research, turning insights into actionable design outcomes.

  • Work with product management to refine requirements and translate them into compelling, user-centric designs.

  • Collaborate with developers to test and validate that implemented features match design specifications and meet quality standards across iOS and Android platforms.

  • Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistency, scalability, and speed.

  • Stay current on design trends, tools, accessibility guidelines, and other best practices to continuously improve our craft, including using AI to increase overall efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in product design or UX/UI roles.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first design work and user-centered thinking.

  • Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, and prototyping tools.

  • Solid understanding of user research methods and applying insights to design.

  • Experience designing responsive interfaces across multiple devices and platforms.

  • Strong UX writing and communication skills.

  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with iOS (Human Interface Guidelines) and Android (Material Design).

  • Familiarity with designing AI-based workflows, including agentic workflows.

  • Prior experience with audio focused UI/UX patterns.

  • Comfort using command-line tools and terminal basics.

  • Awareness of mobile app development processes and constraints.

Soft Skills

  • Empathetic and user-driven; you design with people, not just pixels, in mind.

  • Curious, self starting and continuous learning.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with an eye for visual consistency and polish.

  • Open to feedback and eager to grow—comfortable iterating quickly.

  • Strong communicator who can explain design rationale clearly and concisely.

  • Comfortable with candor—we value honest, constructive conversations.

  • Assertive in your ideas but collaborative in your approach.

Other

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple remote, cross-functional teams.

  • Portfolio and case studies demonstrating your design process.

  • English proficiency: B2–C1 level.
