we are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated associate with 3-4 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join our nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in our Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Silicon Valley office.
Qualified candidates will have experience with California wage and hour class action litigation, PAGA claims, and single plaintiff employment litigation, employee handbooks and day to day advice and counseling. Strong legal writing skills and experience with discovery, motion practice, taking and defending depositions, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings required.
· Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations preferred.
· We are seeking a team-oriented associate with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic who has demonstrated client relationship and business development skills and an ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments.
· Top academics and experience required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the California Bar.
