About the role
We are looking for a passionate Senior Product Manager to help shape Equip’s provider experience. As we grow our patient population and team, it is critical for us to ensure that our experience and processes can scale to deliver tailored and evidence-based treatment to all patients. As a Senior Product Manager in our clinical domain, you will focus on enabling providers to achieve best-in-class outcomes while optimizing provider workflows to focus their time on valuable clinical interactions over administrative work.
We are looking for someone who is user focused, data obsessed, and efficiency minded to step into this role. You will be working closely and collaboratively with design, engineering, operations, clinical programs, care delivery, and data teams to drive improvements throughout our treatment journey. If you’re eager to work in a dynamic, fast moving environment where you’ll strive to make a big impact at a mission driven organization, then this might be the right fit for you!
Responsibilities
Be a thought partner with our care delivery, care operations, and clinical programming teams.
Proactively drive product discovery with stakeholders by surfacing real user needs, validating assumptions through data and research, and ensuring we solve root problems rather than requested ‘features’ in isolation.
Facilitate alignment on desired outcomes and success metrics before deciding on solutions, ensuring every initiative ties back to patient and business value.
Lead prioritization of the roadmap and maintain a tight feedback loop with stakeholders.
Manage the execution of your roadmap by leading engineering, design, and stakeholders through the development process, ensuring tight timelines and successful product launches.
Coordinate and participate in development activities including daily standups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, sprint planning, and other scrum ceremonies.
Demonstrate the value of deliverables through demos, release notes, etc.
Work closely with your design, engineering, data, and clinical counterparts to develop innovative ways to achieve engagement, outcomes, and efficiency targets.
Conduct user surveys, market research, and perform data analysis to form hypotheses & tests that will inform our vision and roadmap.
Monitor usage and satisfaction of our care management product to identify gaps and opportunities.
Lead requirement development sessions and serve as the bridge between the business and technical teams - managing expectations, providing clarity, and making trade-offs, all while using the philosophy of incremental improvement and shortest time to value.
Demonstrate empathy and curiosity as an approach to all complex issues (be them technical, societal, or personal) and share a genuine interest in solving problems for our users.
Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a growing, early-stage work environment.
Find ways to improve efficiency and excellence in our product development process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a product manager within a fast-paced, agile environment, ideally working at a tech-enabled healthcare company.
Proven track record of owning a product experience end to end that’s demonstrated value.
Demonstrated ability to achieve results with limited resources and work independently with a bias toward action.
Demonstrated ability to partner closely with design and engineering to bring your vision to life including the ability to diplomatically push back on feature requests when they’re not aligned with strategic priorities or user needs, guiding the conversation toward the best path forward.
Experience navigating through ambiguity in brand new territory on problems and turning them into solutions.
Strong business sense and a willingness to become an expert in the eating disorder treatment space.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand what your internal customers need, distill complex problems into simple documentation tailored to the audience, and influence and drive alignment cross-functionally.
Demonstrated ability to understand data and leverage it without getting stuck in proving every decision.
