The Field Support Technician I (FST A) is enthusiastic about EVs and a self-starter who will work closely with customers to ensure that Highland’s electric vehicles and charging stations are working properly and that buses can get students to where they need to be. No day will look the same, but responsibilities will include performing original equipment manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting customer issues.
Highland will provide the relevant training to repair all local equipment including basic electric vehicle functions, Level 2 EV chargers to DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment.

As an EV Field Service Technician, you will act as our ambassador, ensuring our electric vehicles and charging stations operate at peak performance. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with buses and chargers, working on everything from electrical systems to advanced diagnostics. You’ll also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to industry standards. With robust training provided, you’ll quickly become proficient in high-demand skills, and as no two days are alike, you can expect a dynamic work environment.
