Your role at Hostinger


System Administrator Manager in the Product team. As part of Hostinger's Product team, you'll lead the SysAdmin Brazilian team. While you are technically credible and know the details of what engineers work on, your time will be spent safeguarding your team’s health, hiring world-class people, and putting them in the best position to succeed. You will own the delivery of product commitments and always look to improve productivity. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Lithuanian and Indonesian SysAdmin teams, developers, engineers, and product managers.

Your skills and experience
  • You have been supporting enterprise-level Linux environments, resolving technical system problems, including product, database, and linux optimization, for 3+ years;
  • You have been technically leading and mentoring an engineering team for 1+ years;
  • You understand the on-premises infrastructure and cloud-based systems;
  • Your English skills are C1 - C2;
  • You are a constant learner who loves Linux and is truly passionate about IT, engineering, and people.


Your day-to-day
  • Keep Hostinger’s Web Hosting Monitoring team in an always-ready state;
  • Provide long-term engineering solutions for Hostinger’s Web Hosting services;
  • Coach, onboard new team members and provide day-to-day team leadership and supervision;
  • Foster technical decision-making on the team but make final decisions when necessary;
  • Analyze system performance and solve technical issues;
  • Plan and deliver team KPIs and find ways to increase team efficiency and performance;
  • Coordinate and automate deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of systems and services;
  • Identify service problems from the client’s side and advise colleagues on difficult cases;
  • Monitor and optimize Hostinger service performance using Grafana, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Ansible, and other tools;
  • Ensure uptime of core services;
  • Make sure retention strategies and downtime handling procedures are followed;
