Regional Manager

This position is a key leader on the Account core team who is responsible for ensuring quality delivery of Facility Management Operations while supporting the Plant Operations, Small Projects, and Financial Performance. This individual will ensure all contract deliverables are met or exceeded, including operational up time, cost savings initiatives, energy consumption reduction initiatives, and service improvements and introduction of best practices and innovations. 

Responsibilities 

  • Exercises discretion and judgment to manage regional plant operations.
  • Ensures building systems and equipment maintenance comply with manufacturer recommendations, CMS-Joint Commission standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Leads performance standard development for managed departments and services.
  • Oversees annual budgeting, financial management, and system navigation, to include resource utilization and budget adherence.
  • Oversees PM/CM equipment maintenance documentation and archiving.
  • Conducts facility tours, creates reports, and develops corrective action plans.
  • Supervises and trains staff in proper facility maintenance practices.
  • Implements and enforces safety procedures and protocols. Ensures a safe work environment through adherence to safety and infection control policies, including proper use of protective equipment and contamination protocols.
  • Collaborates with hospital staff on facility planning, design, and construction.
  • Manages facility incident reports and ensures resolution.
  • Addresses client facility concerns and grievances.
  • Conducts staff evaluations, manages attendance records, and handles disciplinary issues.
  • Maintains interdepartmental relationships to meet facility service needs.
  • Utilizes CMMS and Compliance ATG for work assignment management.
  • Performs building inspections and evaluates repair complexity.
  • Maintains strong relationships with Finance, Performance Management, HR, and Sourcing.

Qualifications 

  • BS Degree or Engineering or related degree preferred but not required. 
  • Minimum 5 years Hospital/Healthcare Facilities Management is required. 
  • 5 years industry experience either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant preferred, but not required.  
  • Joint Commission Survey and CMS Survey Experience at the Hospital level.  Fully knowledgeable of activities necessary to produce a state of perpetual readiness at all hospitals in the portfolio 
  • Strong organizational and management skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills 
  • Experience in matrix management 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience leading/managing a large, complex and geographically dispersed team. 
  • Strong verbal and written (report) communications skills; superior presentation skills. 
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving and crisis management 
  • Technically proficient in operations of Building Management Systems, Life Safety Systems, CMMS, Microsoft Office, Power Point, and Microsoft Outlook software. 
  • 50% travel (1-2 weeks per month) 

Estimated total compensation for this position:

138,000.00 – 159,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
