Kiddom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure to join their InfraOps team, focusing on scalable infrastructure and DevOps practices. This remote position requires strong software engineering skills and a passion for improving educational equity.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include growing DevOps efforts, designing scalable architectures, supporting engineering teams with CI/CD tools, and building RESTful web services.
Skills: Required skills include expertise in REST API design, familiarity with continuous integration tools, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience in DevOps/SRE methodologies. Knowledge of JavaScript, Golang, and Python is also essential.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, along with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and exposure to SecOps and authorization technologies like OAuth.
Location: This is a remote position available anywhere in the US, with certain roles requiring proof of vaccination for office attendance.
Compensation: $130000 - $175000 / Annually

About the team
The InfraOps team’s primary goal is to enable and empower Kiddom’s engineering by building a scalable and sustainable platform that engineering can rely on to meet our company KPIs.
This includes:
Evangelizing and fostering a healthy DevOps culture here at Kiddom, working with teams to establish best practices and help guide new and existing services.
Practicing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) wherever possible, giving us the confidence in repeatable processes that can be automated.
