Fleet Coordinator - NYC

We're looking for a Fleet Coordinator at our high growth rental car startup to help oversee a team of drivers ("Surfers") and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role will report directly to the local Operations Manager. This person should be highly motivated with a positive attitude and good work ethic that can help lift our on-the-ground operations to the next level. 


What You'll Be Doing
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of the lot
  • Deliver and return cars to customers or repair shops
  • Coordinate vehicle pickups from suppliers
  • Help onboard new contractors 
  • Troubleshoot minor maintenance issues on-site
  • Cleaning cars as neededAudit fleet for cleanliness and damage  Install telematic devices on cars
  • Collaborate with leadership on operational changes for fleet/lot improvement
  • Maintain cleaning products and lot equipment
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Comfortable moving cars around the parking structure
  • Ready to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Comfortable with physical aspects (like cleaning, installation, etc.)
  • Good time management and ability to balance competing priorities
  • Ability to follow directions and processes 
  • Effective communication skills


Preferred
  • History in a fast-paced industry (e.g. restaurants, maintenance, events, hotels, construction, gig work)
  • Interest in logistics and operations
  • Open to learning and trying new strategies
  • Experience in SLACK, Google Sheets/Excel and Google Docs
