Product Manager - Data and Evaluations

The Role

As a Product Manager - Data and Evaluations on our Product Engineering team, you'll help build the applications and systems that bring Luma AI's powerful generative video technology to users. You'll create intuitive interfaces and robust services that make complex AI capabilities accessible and delightful to use. Your work will directly shape how creators around the world experience and leverage our technology to bring their ideas to life.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks to assess and benchmark vision model performance

  • Define and track key metrics that quantify model quality, efficiency, and reliability

  • Lead the development of scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and curate high-quality datasets

  • Work closely with AI researchers and engineers to identify gaps in model performance and iterate on solutions

  • Translate technical insights into actionable product roadmaps

  • Establish best practices for scalability, automation, and compliance in data handling and evaluation

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in AI model evaluation methodologies

  • Represent Luma in industry discussions, conferences, and research collaborations

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, data science, AI research, or a related field

  • Hands-on experience in developing evaluation frameworks and managing large-scale datasets

  • Strong understanding of computer vision models, their evaluation techniques, and benchmarking methodologies

  • Experience with data pipelines, data engineering tools, and cloud-based data infrastructure

  • Proficiency in working with AI/ML researchers, engineers, and data scientists

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Familiarity with AI model deployment, MLOps, and real-world performance monitoring is a plus
