At MasteryPrep, we are dedicated to creating high-quality instructional materials that empower students and educators. As a Contract Video Standards Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring our educational video content meets rigorous quality and consistency standards. You will collaborate with content creators, review multimedia assets, and provide structured feedback to refine and enhance video-based instruction. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help maintain the clarity, accessibility, and effectiveness of our learning materials.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing the audio and visual quality of instructional videos, ensuring they meet production standards.
  • Providing structured feedback to improve clarity, consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Quality to refine and document video quality guidelines.
  • Assisting in screening applications for recording talent by reviewing audition materials.
  • Maintaining detailed records of reviews, assessments, and recommendations.
  • Participating in quality control efforts at multiple stages of video production.
  • Attending a small number of synchronous trainings to hone your skills.
  • Ensuring all video content is engaging, accurate, and effective for student learning.

Contract Details

This is a 1099 contract position. Must be willing to commit to 6-7 hours per week and enjoy regular coaching and feedback. We are looking for multiple contractors for approximately a 90-day period.

  • 1-2 years of experience in audio/video production, quality control, or media evaluation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with digital educational products is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Receptivity to feedback.
  • Technology prowess is a plus.

Compensation:

This is a 1099 contract position with a pay rate of $35/hr.
