Visiting Professor, Climate Policy and Management

The Middlebury Institute of International Studies is a graduate school of Middlebury College and invites applications for a visiting faculty position in Climate Policy and Management. Applicants should prepare for applying to this position by reviewing the required documents in the application instructions below.

We are looking for broadly trained candidates prepared to teach core courses in the Environmental Policy and Management Program, as well as electives in their area of specialization. Experience to contribute to the Program's Professional Service requirement, which integrates student academic work with professional learning opportunities, is a plus.

Applicants with research interests and experience in any of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply: climate resilience, climate security, climate finance, climate policy, climate justice, coastal and ocean resource management, energy or agriculture vulnerability, and disaster relief. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in stakeholder engagement through international collaborations and governance. Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly potential.
