Digital Product Manager- Gaming

  • The Digital Product Manager – Gaming will be responsible for the end-to-end product management of Mondia’s gaming product. This includes owning the gaming product roadmap, driving research and ideation, wireframing and prototyping, writing detailed user stories, collaborating with designers and the tech team, post-launch performance monitoring, and optimizing key gaming KPIs. In addition, this role will work closely with the Gaming Director to shape the overall gaming strategy, engage with gaming content providers, and stay ahead of industry trends. The ideal candidate will combine product management expertise with deep knowledge of the gaming world, ensuring the The platform provides engaging and high-performing gaming experiences 

  • Responsibilities 
  • Product Ownership: Define and execute the gaming product vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs. 
  • Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain the gaming product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market research, business goals, and user needs. 
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of gaming industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and differentiation. 
  • User Experience & Prototyping: Work closely with designers to develop wireframes and interactive prototypes, ensuring seamless and engaging gaming experiences. 
  • Collaboration & Execution: Partner with development teams to translate concepts into actionable user stories, oversee Agile sprint execution, and ensure timely feature delivery. 
  • Post-Launch Monitoring: Track key gaming performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and iterate based on data insights and user feedback. 
  • Gaming Industry Engagement: Has existing relationships with gaming content providers. Confident to negotiate content partnerships and ensure seamless integration of third-party gaming content with a track record in the gaming industry. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, keeping leadership and stakeholders informed of product developments and strategic directions. 
  • Monetization & Business Growth: Identify and implement revenue-driving features, including new monetization models, subscriptions, and in-game incentives to maximize engagement and retention. 
  • Gaming KPIs & Performance Metrics: Define and track engagement metrics such as Active vs. Eligible Subscribers, Total Game Plays, and subscription conversion rates, continuously improving performance. 
  • Marketing & Commercial Support: Work with marketing and commercial teams to position the product effectively, support sales pitches, and contribute to go-to-market strategies. 

  • Strong understanding of the gaming ecosystem, including content licensing, game publishers, monetization models, and engagement strategies. 
  • Experience in managing digital gaming products, with a focus on user acquisition, engagement, and retention. 
  • Proven ability to define and execute product roadmaps using Agile methodologies. 
  • Hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, and user journey design. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in tracking and optimizing gaming KPIs. 
  • Familiarity with gaming content providers, partnerships, and third-party integrations. 
  • Experience with web and mobile applications, understanding multi-platform gaming experiences. 
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing strategies for gaming, including customer engagement, retention tactics, and player lifecycle management. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience in the telecom industry is a plus, especially in understanding digital distribution via carrier billing

Education  

Diploma or University degree in Marketing or equivalent  

Experience  

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in the gaming industry.
