National Grid is hiring a Lead Engineer, Electrical Planning and Design for Massachusetts. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations
The Senior Engineer's responsibilities encompass a wide range of duties across our Protection Policy & Support and IEC 61850 engineering functions. The Protection Policy & Support function contributes to the development of technical policies, guidelines, and standards related to protection and control systems and the IEC 61850 function supports and contributes to the Company’s vision of a digital substation leveraging current IEC 61850 standards.
Salary - $150,000 - $176,000
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
