Full-stack Engineer (Growth Team)

As a Full-stack Engineer at Neon, you'll primarily focus on developing new features that enhance user acquisition, retention, and monetization. You'll work closely with the Product Engineering team, taking full ownership of your features from ideation to user feedback iteration, ensuring they deliver high value. You'll also collaborate across different stacks, comfortably navigating various codebases and participating in on-call rotations to resolve critical issues.

To qualify for the Full-stack Engineer role at Neon, candidates should have over one year of experience in backend Golang applications, frontend React applications, and using Typescript. Additionally, familiarity with infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services such as AWS or Azure is essential. A genuine willingness to learn and adapt quickly is also highly valued.

To ensure code quality, I start with writing unit tests and follow a test-driven development approach. I also engage in code reviews with peers to catch potential issues early and leverage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
