Foreman - Construction & Landscaping

Position Summary

Open Range is seeking a dedicated and skilled Foreman – Construction & Landscaping to lead and oversee our field operations. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for managing construction and landscaping crews, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. Your expertise will play a key role in the successful execution of both construction and landscape installations across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of construction and landscaping crews, ensuring adherence to project plans, deadlines, and safety protocols.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and direction to crew members while ensuring quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Conduct regular inspections of job sites to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
  • Train and mentor crew members on construction techniques, landscaping practices, and safety measures.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors regarding project status and any issues that arise.
  • Assist with the procurement of materials and resources needed for projects, including plants, soil, and construction supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards throughout project execution.
  • Manage on-site conflict resolution while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on crew performance and project status.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in construction or landscaping preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction and landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and landscaping practices.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with heavy machinery operation and maintenance.
