About the role: 

Are you ready to take full ownership of a new service offering and drive its commercial and operational success? As a (Senior) Business Operations Manager, Chronic Care Services & Digital Health in our Commercial Team in Cologne, you will be at the forefront of launching and scaling this new service, ensuring its strategic growth and operational excellence. This is a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally, optimize commercial and operational performance, and make data-driven decisions that will shape the future of our offering. 

Job Description

About your tasks: 

  • Commercial Ownership: Drive commercial performance of the service by creating sales strategies, financial forecasts, identifying revenue and cost enhancement opportunities. 

  • Operational Excellence:  Design and implement efficient processes and workflows to support the services’ delivery, commercial impact and scalability. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the key stakeholder contact for the service, facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment between cross-departmental teams like marketing, commercial, pharma, and legal. 

  • KPI Management: Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data insights to make strategic improvements & decisions. 

  • Risk and Compliance Management:  Ensure compliance by proactively addressing challenges and ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory and organizational standards. 

Qualifications

About you: 

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in business operations and commercial management, ideally in fast-paced environments such as startups, and consultancies. 

  • Experience in the German healthcare system, chronic care or digital health market is a plus. 

  • You have a background in launching and scaling new services or products. 

  • You are fluent in both German and English and comfortable using them as your primary working language. 

  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong stakeholder management, and exceptional communication and project management skills for effective cross-functional and senior leadership collaboration. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making. 

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to drive data insights and present strategies effectively. 

  • You demonstrate a high level of commitment, responsibility, teamwork, and initiative.
