Landscape Project Manager

Position Summary

Open Range is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing landscape projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal teams and contractors to achieve exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of landscape projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
  • Serve as the main liaison between clients, design teams, and contractors, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines, detailing resource allocation and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to stay on track with timelines and budget constraints.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials and resources, working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring thorough and accurate record-keeping.
  • Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Prepare and present project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes appropriately.
  • Implement best practices in project management and landscape operations to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee snow removal operations in the winter, coordinating with crews and our commercial snow clients.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in landscape project management or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or similar applications.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape design, construction methods, and horticultural practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
