Your Career

Palo Alto Networks is building a world-class product management organization and continues to look for top-notch product management talent to expand the team. As the Director of Product Management for Cortex Vulnerability Management you will be responsible for building and scaling  vulnerability and exposure management capabilities for our SecOps and cloud platform.

You will be responsible for defining and executing a product that focuses on Exposure Management. To be successful in this position, you have to be truly excited about building great cybersecurity products and envisioning disruptive solutions where no precedence exists. You possess strong leadership skills, persistence, passion and focus on helping our customers defeat adversaries at machine speed. You will be the thought leader for this space in your interactions with customers, prospects and industry analysts. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty and do whatever needs to be done to make your product a success - from working closely with engineering to engaging with marketing and everything in between.

Your Impact

  • Own success for Exposure Management product line.

  • Bring domain knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Cloud Security product landscape to drive meaningful partnerships.

  • Direct a comprehensive product strategy from product conception, definition, adoption and growth of a completely new product working with teams in the US and Israel.

  • Help in building delightful web product experiences.

  • Drive product pricing, packaging strategy for new offerings and go-to-market decisions across multiple teams. 

  • Collaborate with go-to-market (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) teams for the successful adoption of the product line.

  • Above all, champion a customer-centric approach to product growth. 

  • Drive product pricing and go-to-market decisions

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • BS/MS or equivalent experience or equivalent military experience required 

  • Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle

  • 8+ years in product management with at least 3 years in a lead/management role

  • 5+ years in Vulnerability Management product space

  • An analytical decision-maker, with the demonstrated ability to diagnose business problems and drive issues to completion.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to C-level executives at Palo Alto Networks and with external partners and customers.

  • Ability to distill complex and ambiguous situations into impactful plans for your team.

  • Flexible leadership style and demonstrated experience working with senior product leadership to help define, distill and communicate a marketplace strategy.

  • Experience leading product management teams.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $231000 - $317000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
