Network Engineer, Lead Associate

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Network Engineer to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction MD., area. Our dynamic team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms.

Qualifications

  • Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering science, or related discipline and 6 years of IT related experience is required. Nine (9) years of IT related experience with High School diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the Information Technology field is required.
  • Experience in two (2) of the following areas:
    • Network troubleshooting
    • Routers/switches
    • Cisco IOS/Junos OS
    • Firewalls
    • Hubs/Bridges/gateways
    • Network packet investigation/analysis tools
    • Database tools
  • Demonstrated experience providing highly technical and specialized guidance and solutions to complex IT problems.
  • Ability to perform elaborate analyses and studies and prepare reports and give presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting MultiCloud Fabric (MCF) infrastructure.
  • Cloud engineering and modernization experience.

 

Salary Range Estimate:

 

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
