This is a position we're hiring on behalf of our client in the banking industry.


Your Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cyber AI Specialist to join our team. This role combines expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity to design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance our security posture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML technologies and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles to protect systems, detect threats, and respond to incidents effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate AI solutions into existing cybersecurity frameworks and tools.
  • Leverage AI to automate penetration testing and identify exploitable flaws in application codebases
  • Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed AI-powered threat detection into CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats (e.g., intrusion detection, anomaly detection, malware analysis).
  • Analyze large datasets (e.g., network traffic, logs) to identify patterns and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with security teams to design proactive defenses using AI-driven insights.
  • Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and AI advancements to refine security strategies.
  • Ensure AI models are secure, ethical, and resistant to adversarial attacks.


Required Skills:

AI/ML Expertise:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or Java.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Knowledge of deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning.
  • Ability to design, train, and optimize AI models for real-time applications.
  • Proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and risks in AI models.
  • Understanding of adversarial AI (e.g., evasion attacks, data poisoning) and how to defend against them.

Cybersecurity Knowledge:

  • Ability to think like an attacker to anticipate and counter threats.
  • Basic knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (e.g., encryption, firewalls, IDS/IPS, penetration testing) and familiar with common attack vectors (e.g., phishing, ransomware, DDoS) and mitigation techniques.
  • Experience with security tools (e.g., Burpsuite/ ZAP, Metasploit, or similar).
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices and threat modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing AI workloads in the cloud.
  • Ability to analyze and preprocess security-related datasets (e.g., logs, packet captures).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.


Requirements

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development and/or cybersecurity roles.
  • AI & ML Implementation: Proven ability to apply AI techniques to security problems.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AI, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as OSCP or GPEN, GWAPT and/or AI-related certifications (e.g., TensorFlow Developer Certificate) is a plus
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., banking, finance) with strict security requirements is a plus.
