Job Description

The Brand & Marketing Communication Specialist is responsible for supporting the development of national campaigns and brand programs. This role reports into the Senior Marketing Manager and supports the National Marketing & Communications team with the main goal of collaborating cross-functionally to bring Raising Cane’s national strategy to life in exciting new ways.

  • Supports the development of system wide and regional campaigns and brand programs
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Communications team to create recommendations and launch plans for all campaigns and brand programs
  • Develops and maintains timelines for all projects, ensuring projects adhere to the timeline and all adjustments are communicated to the appropriate team members
  • Provides the Restaurant Marketing team with campaign and brand program details to successfully deploy campaigns and brand programs to the restaurants
  • Manages the deployment of centralized reader board messages for restaurants
  • Monitors marketplace trends and provide insights on how these trends could impact campaigns and brand programs
  • Receives and consolidates Restaurant Marketing team feedback on programs to improve future executions
  • Conducts comprehensive analyses on campaign and program performance
  • Manages restaurant communication submissions and partners with Crew Communication to address internal needs and updates
  • Supports campaign and brand program meetings by preparing agendas, materials, participating in discussions, recapping key points, and assigning resources for follow up projects or needs
  • Assists in the preparation and presentation of materials for the department, company meetings, and internal communications
  • Shares important information for department leaders to cover in their meetings
  • Tracks the marketing budget and ensures marketing costs are accurate, processes invoices in a timely manner, and conducts monthly and quarterly budget reconciliations and trend reporting
  • Provides ad hoc reporting as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant, food, or beverage industry, retail, or packaged goods as it relates to brand marketing
  • Agency background is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with brand development planning, innovation, and creative ideation processes
  • Experience in sales and data analysis
  • Motivated by intellectual challenges, naturally curious, and able to navigate ambiguous circumstances
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities that may be constantly changing
  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and collaboratively
  • Microsoft Proficient: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Able to travel up to 10% for project assistance and campaign support
  • Able to work full-time at the Restaurant Support Office in Plano, TX
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is required
