Product Marketing Manager

About Us:

At Reusables, we’re driven by a vision of a waste-free world and recognize the urgent need to address the environmental impact of our current systems and habits. We believe that meaningful change requires institutions to offer frictionless systems that make sustainability effortless and tangible.

What began as a grassroots initiative offering reusable takeout containers to restaurants and cafes in Vancouver, has since grown into an enterprise technology platform reaching institutions across North America. Today, Reusables is helping to eliminate thousands of tons of single-use waste each year, empowering businesses to join the journey toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.

As a venture-backed and mission-driven company, we are passionate about making impact at scale. We are a young, weirdly talented group of ‘high-octane’ individuals that are relentlessly focused on the planet, people, and profit – in that order.

About the Role:

Reusuables.com is seeking a results-driven Product Marketing Manager to lead the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies for our products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compelling product narratives, conducting market research, and equipping sales teams with the tools needed to drive revenue. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making to ensure product success and market growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates the product in the market.
  • Craft value propositions tailored to different customer segments.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across all marketing and sales channels.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy

  • Own the launch process for new products and features, ensuring alignment between marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Define and execute GTM plans, including pricing, packaging, and sales enablement.
  • Track and optimize product adoption and market penetration.

Market & Competitive Research

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pain points, and buying behaviour.
  • Analyze competitors to identify differentiation opportunities.
  • Use insights to refine positioning, pricing, and messaging strategies.

Sales Enablement & Training

  • Develop sales collateral, decks, battle cards, and one-pagers to equip sales teams.
  • Train sales teams on product positioning, objection handling, and competitive differentiation.
  • Work with sales leadership to optimize the sales funnel.

Content & Demand Generation

  • Collaborate with content teams to create whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and thought leadership content.
  • Support demand generation campaigns with messaging, webinars, and lead nurture content.
  • Align marketing efforts with the sales pipeline to generate and convert high-quality leads.

Customer Insights & Advocacy

  • Gather customer feedback to improve positioning and messaging.
  • Develop case studies and testimonials to showcase product success.
  • Work with customer success to improve retention and expansion strategies.

Metrics & Performance Analysis

  • Define and track KPIs such as lead conversion rates, product adoption, and customer retention.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and optimize for better engagement and ROI.
  • Provide data-driven insights to refine GTM strategies.

What You’ll Bring To The Team:

  • Experience: 3-7+ years in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft compelling positioning and messaging.
  • Market Research: Strong ability to analyze competitors and market trends.
  • Sales Collaboration: Experience working closely with sales teams to drive revenue.
  • Content Creation: Strong writing skills for marketing and sales collateral.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to work with product, sales, and marketing teams.

Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000 + Stock Options

If your background doesn’t perfectly align with the qualifications listed, but you’re confident in your ability to excel in this role, we still want to hear from you! At Reusables, we value diverse experiences and unique perspectives, so don’t hesitate to apply if you believe you can make a meaningful impact.

We sincerely appreciate the time and effort of all applicants who express interest in joining our team. While we carefully review each application, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Thank you for considering Reusables as your next career opportunity!

Why You’ll Love Working At Reusables:

Why Join Us:

The ocean already contains 165 million tonnes of plastic. By 2050, plastic in the ocean will outweigh fish. In that same year, GHG emissions associated with plastic production, use and disposal, would account for 15% of allowed emissions as per the Paris Agreement. Recycling is the current solution to single-use plastic, however only 5% of plastic is recycled in the U.S. (9% in Canada). Governments around the world are banning single-use plastics and leading businesses have made commitments to eliminate packaging waste across their product offerings by 2030. Experts have proven reusable packaging in a circular economy to be the most environmentally sustainable option. However, food businesses, our primary target market, are facing a major challenge in the adoption of reusables: the costs and complexity associated with offering reusable packaging on their own are untenable. For consumers, there currently is no mainstream option for reusable packaging.

The ocean already contains 165 million tonnes of plastic, and by 2050, plastic waste could outweigh fish. While recycling is often touted as the solution, only 5% of plastic is actually recycled in the U.S. (9% in Canada). Governments and businesses worldwide are banning single-use plastics and committing to zero-waste solutions by 2030.

Reusable packaging is the most sustainable alternative, but adoption has been hindered by cost and operational complexity. Reusables.com removes these barriers, offering a scalable, tech-enabled solution for food businesses.
