Product Designer

Reveal HealthTech partners with a range of clients across the health care and life sciences industries to improve their use of data via machine learning and AI to better serve their own customers and patients.

We're looking for an early-career UX/UI designer to join our product design team and help design the front ends to these platforms. Your primary role will be to collaborate with team members across a variety of product and engineering roles to develop and design new software interfaces, with a lot of mentorship from our Director of Product Design. This role will span all stages of development from product discovery through wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and iteration. It may also include work on internal design projects for brand development and marketing purposes.

  • Research client needs, competitors, and related products
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups in Figma
  • Be able to take direction from more senior designers and collaborate by building on each other's ideas
  • Be able to juggle multiple projects at once and finish tasks on time
  • Know how to problem-solve on your own, and also understand when it is appropriate to ask for feedback
  • Reach out or “raise your hand" when you're stuck, rather than quietly struggling
  • Get to know the roles that other team members are playing, and ask questions as necessary to learn how to collaborate effectively within project teams
  • Help with various internal side projects, including design for sales collateral, our website, slide decks, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, human-computer interaction, user experience, front-end development, or another related field
  • Be proficient in one or more design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Have a working knowledge of UX/UI design principles
  • Have an understanding of the software application design process
  • Be receptive to critique, and implement feedback proactively
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and grow in all things design
  • Start-up experience or freelance (corporate, software, web, agency) is a plus

If you meet the qualifications and are excited about this opportunity, please submit your resume. We are looking to fill this role immediately and will review applications on a rolling basis.
