Reporting directly to the CRO, the Head of Sales for the US East/EMEA will drive revenue growth and expansion in the market. You will be responsible for growing and developing two regional teams focusing on outbound activity.

Candidates must reside in the eastern United States with good access to a major airport.

What you will do

  • Hire and/or develop two regional teams, one based in London and the other based virtually in the eastern US.
  • Drive execution of sales policies and practices by enabling and coaching your teams, including joining calls, ensuring the team is product experts, and identifying growth plans.
  • Develop strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.
  • Provide accurate forecasting to hit and exceed the team’s revenue targets for the region and individual accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

What you bring to the table

  • Proven ability to lead and mentor world-class salespeople.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership at successful, high-growth technology platforms. 
  • Have at least 5 years of experience closing six and seven-figure deals.
  • Previous SaaS experience, selling into Product and Engineering segments.
  • Sales leadership experience regionally throughout both the US and EMEA markets.

Pay Transparency

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function, level, and geographic location.  To determine our ranges, we utilize a variety of compensation data benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies.   A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $320,000 - $390,000 OTE .  This range is specific to the San Francisco Bay market.  We consider several factors when making final compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs which may cause your specific offer to vary from the amount listed above.

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees within an hour's commute range of their local office to gather with their team in the office three days per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
