Job Description

This role will report to the Global Facilities Operations Manager, within the Corporate Services organization supporting the company’s global site infrastructure and facilities’ systems. This role is responsible to ensure reliability of systems in support of all facilities space throughout our global organization. Through this work, the Infrastructure Engineer will manage several key priorities, including partnering with Global Construction, Facilities Operations team, other Corporate Services partners to support the design process, equipment installs and implementation of maintenance strategies. Additionally, this role will be a key part of the IFM (Integrated Facility Management) team that owns and supports the daily maintenance activities across all Solidigm sites globally to ensure facility reliability. The Infrastructure Engineer will own multiple systems and tools to ensure facility reliability.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Manage engineering operational accounts for buildings and assist in development of operations and capital budgets. 
  • Construction and Project Management support including design reviews and FAT’s (Functional Ability Tests).  
  • Assists in maintenance/engineering issues as required. 
  • Recommend/implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis. 
  • Develop/maintain effective asset specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals and enforce IFM compliance. 
  • Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors. 
  • Oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues and remains current with latest HVAC technology trends. 
  • Electrical load study analysis 
  • Administer all equipment and construction warranties with respect to defect liability period. 
  • Coordinate development of and/or maintains the as-built drawing library. 
  • Respond quickly to emergency situations (i.e. fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns. 
  • Implement and administer inventory control programs/purchase parts and supplies. 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, government agency and company directives as relates to building operations globally. 
  • Supervise maintenance staff; and assign and monitor maintenance projects. 
  • Conduct regular inspections of operating mechanical, electrical and equipment systems; make necessary adjustments to operating equipment and controls. 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MUST HAVE), Mechanical or Electrical preferred with 3-5 yrs. experience.  
  • Knowledge of Predictive/Preventive/Protective Maintenance approaches for building systems 
  • Effective trouble shooting techniques 
  • Improving asset value and performance – Proactive Maintenance Scheduling 
  • Ability to train, assign, organize, prioritize, motivate, supervise, and evaluate the work of assigned employees and contractors 
  • Must have the capacity to “wear many hats”  

Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $91,500 - $144,050. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

This position follows a Hybrid work model.
