The United States base range for this position is $ 100,705 - $ 143,865, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, a monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.

As a Data Engineer I at Kelp, based in the vibrant city of New York, NY, you will be entering the exciting world of enterprise data products tailored for Spotify's industry partners, including record labels and audiobook publishers. In this role, you'll scope, build, and enhance robust data pipelines and API infrastructures, diving deep into terabytes of data generated from Spotify's vast user base and their billions of daily audio streams. Engaging with cutting-edge technologies and platforms such as Scala, Scio, Java, Flink, and Google Cloud Platform will be daily bread for you as you work to elevate data and API quality through diligent testing and tooling. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with an array of talented professionals—other software engineers, data scientists, and product owners—to ensure our systems run smoothly and effectively.
