UX Designer - 2 week project

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our team for a 2-week project focused on designing the product page of the future to double the add-to-basket percentage. You will have a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in user-centred design, wireframing, prototyping, and iterative design processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in UK e-commerce with a proven track record of step-changing metrics, ideally in fashion or furniture.

Location: Remote

Duration: 2 Weeks (could be 2 weeks full time or 4 weeks part time)

Start Date: Immediately

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review data on the metrics to change – add to basket data, customer product queries and returns due to not as expected.
  • Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the design meets project goals and user needs.
  • Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing (if applicable).
  • Present final designs to stakeholders with clear explanations of design decisions.
  • Deliver design assets and documentation for handoff in the development phases agreed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience in designing for web and/or mobile platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work within a tight timeline.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
  • Previous experience working on short-term projects is a plus.
