Accounting Manager

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health of the company. You will be responsible for preparing financial reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP, running the month end close process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (specifically ASC-606), overseeing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), and managing accruals. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of the tech industry and startup environments, as well as experience working in small teams and managing accounting staff.


What You'll Do:
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly and annual books and lead the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, with accuracy. 
  • Process customer invoices.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable collections.
  • Communicates issues and resolutions to management and affected areas/departments.
  • Assist in annual financial audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior leadership as needed.


What You Should Have:
  • 5-8 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles (familiarity with Netsuite, Captivate IQ, Salesforce + ASC-606, a bonus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively prioritize and perform multiple projects while working with varying team members, as well as work independently with limited required direction.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail. 
  • Eager to learn new things and take on additional tasks to support the team.


$93,000 - $135,000 a year
The salary information shown is a general guideline only. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon multiple factors including local currency, knowledge, skillset, experience and internal equity.

The Hiring Process:

 We have a transparent and streamlined hiring process that can typically be completed in one to two weeks: 

• Phone screen

• 3 additional video chat interviews (on occasion there may be opportunities for in-person interviews)

• Some positions may require a take home test or additional steps throughout the process (this will be communicated to the candidate)
