Position Summary:
The DNC is hiring a Senior Counsel for Litigation and Voting Rights to manage the DNC’s litigation portfolio. This position reports to the DNC’s General Counsel and will work closely with the Voter Protection Director.

In this vital role, you will be entrusted with managing the DNC’s litigation portfolio, working closely with the Voter Protection Director and the General Counsel to forge a path in advancing our standing in the legal arena. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing both offensive and defensive litigation efforts, providing strategic advice to leadership, and acting as the point of contact for outside counsel. You'll review and edit pleadings, facilitate stakeholder communication regarding relevant litigation updates, and manage various legal administrative processes. We're looking for someone who possesses excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to tight deadlines. To thrive in this position, you should have at least seven years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a strong focus on public interest litigation or voting rights. A Juris Doctor degree is essential, along with admission to practice in at least one U.S. state bar.
