As an RN ICU at Mercy Hospital Bakersfield, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for each patient assigned to you. You will provide direct patient care, supervise nursing staff, coordinate care plans, ensure accurate execution of physician orders, and educate patients regarding disease management. To work as an RN ICU at Mercy Hospital Bakersfield, you must have a valid California RN license, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and NIHSS certification. While preferred, one year of ICU experience is ideal; however, if you are a new grad RN, you can complete the required certifications within 60 days of hire.
