RN - Obstetrics Acute - Join an Award-Winning Team at Northridge Hospital Medical Center!

This prestigious award reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care and limiting hospital-associated infections and complications. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Obstetrics Acute unit and contribute to our ongoing success in delivering safe and high-quality care to mothers and newborns.

 

  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, assessment, and education.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the team.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAP).
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) and other electronic applications.
  • Serve as a preceptor and role model for new staff and students.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one (1) year current acute care registered nursing experience in specialty area required.
  • Current certification in specialty area preferred.
  • Experience with open heart and balloon pump preferred.
  • CCRN TNCC certification preferred.
  • Experience with EHR (Cerner MediTech etc?) preferred.
  • Registered Nurse with current California License required.
  • Current AHA BLS card required.
  • ACLS EKG competency required.
  • LA City Fire Care required within 90 days of hire.

This position is represented by SEIU L121 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
