Responsibilities: Improve website accessibility by fixing heading levels, creating video transcripts, adding alt text to images, and implementing changes.
Skills: Strong organizational, writing, and research skills; familiarity with Google Suite, content management systems, and basic HTML.
Qualifications: Undergraduate students interested in accessibility or user experience; familiarity with WCAG or accessibility issues is a plus.
Location: New York, NY, office-based 3 days per week with one half day remote.
Compensation: $25 - $25 / Hourly

This internship is for undergraduates with an interest in accessibility or user experience, and seeking experience on a Content Accessibility Team. Reporting into our Senior Manager, Content Accessibility, you will be supporting our work to make our content and products more accessible. This includes making improvements to the website, such as fixing heading levels, creating transcripts for videos, adding alt text to images, and cleaning up tags. Additional support may include helping us to start implementing some of the changes to our website.
This internship will be based out of our NYC office 3 days per week, and one half day remote. Pay rate: $25/hour.
