If you're a detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in the aerospace sector, we have an exciting opportunity for you at our Toulouse location as a Quality Inspector. In this role, you will be traveling to various supplier facilities where your keen eye for detail will help ensure that manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies meet stringent quality standards. Your expertise will be put to good use as you conduct visual and dimensional inspections according to engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, and relevant industry standards. Reporting your findings through a user-friendly web application, you’ll keep our clients informed with precise accept/reject information. Familiarity with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) will be essential to your success. We’re looking for candidates who have practical experience in conducting in-process and final inspections of complex machined components, especially using ANSI Y14.5 – Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) standards. Being able to read and interpret engineering drawings is a must, as is proficiency in using mechanical inspection tools like micrometers and calipers. You should also have experience with First Article Inspections (FAIs) adhering to the AS9102 standard. With a minimum of five years in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing, you're not just a candidate; you're a potential asset! As an independent contractor working on a part-time basis (16 hours per week), flexibility is key, and you’ll need your own laptop.
