At Vessel Technologies, we’re redefining how housing is designed, engineered, and manufactured. We’ve combined cutting-edge design with precision engineering to deliver homes that are beautiful, sustainable, and attainable.
We’re just getting started. As we scale, we’re looking to harness the power of AI to optimize workflows, streamline decision-making, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. That’s where you come in.
We’re hiring a Lead AI Engineer to lay the foundation for AI at Vessel—developing tools that enhance building design, accelerate site selection, and improve manufacturing processes. In this role, you’ll build and lead a team that brings AI into every stage of our development process, turning bold ideas into transformative systems.
What You’ll Do:
•Shape the Vision. Define how AI supports design, engineering, and manufacturing at Vessel.
•Develop AI Solutions. Build machine learning models to streamline design workflows, evaluate site feasibility, and optimize production.
•Test and Scale. Prototype AI-powered tools, refine them based on results, and deploy solutions across teams.
•Lead and Build. Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of engineers to scale AI capabilities as the business grows.
•Collaborate Across Teams. Work with architects, designers, and engineers to integrate AI seamlessly into Vessel’s process—from concept to delivery.
•Create for Scale. Build systems and frameworks that evolve with the company’s growth and needs.
What You Bring:
•AI Expertise. 3–5 years of experience designing and deploying machine learning systems for optimization, prediction, and automation.
•Technical Mastery. Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
•Leadership Skills. Proven experience building and leading engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
•Data-Driven Approach. Strong background in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and analytics.
•Startup Energy. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where big ideas turn into results.
•Clear Communication. You’re just as comfortable explaining AI concepts to stakeholders as you are building complex algorithms.
•Problem-Solving Mentality. You’re energized by challenges and know how to turn vision into execution.
