Position Summary...What you'll do...The Associate Digital Experience (ADE) mission is to deliver business value through consumer-grade products and services; building trust through transparency, reducing our operational costs; and reinvesting into experienced-based outcomes which enable radical flexibility for the evolving digital workforce. It builds, owns, and operates a number of internal and external tools that help our associates (what Walmart calls its employees) work better and collaborate more. This specific role is on ADE's Campus Technology team whose vision is to power the world's most user-friendly campus experience.About Team:The Enterprise People Technology team supports the successful deployment and adoption of new People technology across the enterprise. People Technology is one of the major segments of Walmart Global Tech's Enterprise Business Services, which is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and the Associate Digital Experience.What you'll do:As a Software Developer, you'll work independently and guide small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned engineering projects including new products, features, and proof-of-concepts.You'll help our team by reviewing project requirements, translating them into technical solutions, writing and developing code, conducting/creating relevant testing, communicating status and issues to team members and partners, and ensuring on-time delivery. You'll frequently collaborate with the product team, cross-functional partners, Architecture leads, as well as UX Designers and Researchers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of engineering excellence, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and the ability to synthesize complex data sets into clear, impactful financial narratives.What you'll bring:• 10-12 years of mobile development experience (iOS and/or Android) working with the following: React Native, Mobile Development, SQL, APIs, Data Modeling and Data Analytics• Experience with CI/CD principles and automated testing as well as the related processes and technologies.• End-user centricity and a passion for creating solutions that solve problems for their customers.• A track record of being a strong team player who collaborates well and thrives on working with a team.• Experience with DevOps, agile development, scrum ceremonies, and related ways of working.About Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
