Lead Product Designer

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to craft seamless and engaging user experiences across multiple platforms. In this role, you will be the voice of the customer, ensuring that our product is designed to meet user needs and aspirations. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to create intuitive, high-quality designs that enhance usability and engagement.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Deeply understand customer needs and aspirations, acting as the custodian of the user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Conceptualize and design wireframes, mockups, and final UI screens based on product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver world-class user experiences and continuously refine them.
  • Pay attention to minute details to ensure a smooth and consistent experience across devices.

Requirements:

  • B.Des or M.Des degree or relevant industry experience.
  • A growth and ownership mindset, with the ability to take full responsibility for design initiatives.
  • Strong data analysis and communication skills to drive design decisions.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2C product design.
  • Ability to articulate design decisions effectively with outstanding written communication skills in English.
  • Hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, Zeplin, etc.
  • Experience working in startups or leading zero-to-one product initiatives in established organizations.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute end-to-end design projects.
