Dance Teacher

West Valley Dance Company is a premier dance studio with locations in San Jose, Willow Glen, and Mountain View offering a well-rounded, professional dance education that caters to individual pace and growth. As a subdivision of Action Day Schools, our roots are in the passion of teaching, and the staff of WVDC understand the importance of a child’s development at any age–ensuring our lessons go beyond those of the dance studio.

Our passionate instructors share in their enthusiasm for teaching children of all ages the magic of dance! Their creativity and dedication to our programs are the reason we continue to expand and we are looking for enthusiastic dance teachers to help us continue to grow!

We are hiring talented and experienced dance teachers for full and part-time positions teaching all areas of dance at our studios. Qualified applicants should come with experience giving exceptional instruction to dancers between the ages of 18 months-18 years. Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Dance experience.
  • A love and passion for working with children.
  • Experience working with children between the ages of 18 months-18 years preferred.
  • Reliable transportation for traveling within locations in the Bay Area
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An eagerness to learn and grow!

Compensation: $25-40/hr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.
