The Digital Content Manager at Professional Bull Riders (PBR) ensures consistent, engaging, and high-quality content across PBR’s digital platforms. This role is responsible for managing content updates, SEO optimization, and ensuring brand consistency across all digital channels. Additionally, the Content Manager provides editorial contributions as needed, including writing, editing, and coordinating outsourced content.
The Digital Content Manager reports to the Digital Product Manager and collaborates with PR, marketing, social media and video teams.
Manage all content updates across several websites and apps to ensure timely and accurate information.
Manage and update the PBR event and tune-in schedules, ensuring all event pages are accurate, properly linked to ticketing partners, and aligned with marketing initiatives.
Work with Video Content Manager to ensure app VOD rails are fresh, engaging and optimized.
Maintain brand consistency, structure, and quality across all digital content.
Work with Product Manager to ensure digital streaming distribution is accurate and clearly represented to fans
Oversee the Chatbot content and monitor/report on user interactions and intent trends.
Implement SEO best practices, metadata structuring, and content tagging to improve search visibility.
Monitor and report on website and app analytics, SEO rankings and user engagement, adjusting content strategy based on performance data.
Write, edit, and publish editorial content and format and publish press releases for PBR’s website and app.
Coordinate with freelancers and internal teams to source, edit, and publish additional content as needed.
Oversee the selection and integration of photos and videos within digital content.
Provide content for email/newsletter marketing content.
Assist with live event content updates and ensure the website reflects real-time event results.
Provide support around and during events to manage content updates, troubleshoot issues, and optimize fan experience.
Work with the Digital Coordinator to execute event-related website changes.
Ensure proper integration of sponsored content and promotional materials across digital channels
Experience as a Content Manager, Content Strategist, Web Editor, or SEO Specialist.
Experience with CMS platforms (Umbraco preferred), SEO tools, and basic HTML.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience in digital publishing.
Understanding of Google Analytics, metadata optimization, and SEO strategy.
Ability to analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategy accordingly.
Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple content initiatives.
Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Style for editorial content.
Willingness to produce quality photo and video content using a mobile device.
Ability to work weekends and non-traditional hours as needed, particularly for live events.
Experience in the sports or entertainment industry.
Basic understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility best practices.
Hybrid work model with four days in the office.
Evening and weekend work required for live event coverage.
Occasional travel will be required.
